About

A few years ago when the preacher asked the question, “Do you take this man…” I didn’t realize that I was also signing on for his family of critters including a growing flock of sheep, Great Pyrenees dogs and Border Collies.  (We don’t EVEN need to mention the Cashmere goats!)  This came as quite a shock to a girl who grew up “in town” and didn’t know the first thing about farm life other than singing “Old MacDonald” with my second graders.

Facing a barn full of beautiful wool, I knew I needed to quickly get with the program and bought my first spinning wheel.  There was no turning back.  One thing led to another and soon Blue Goose Glen was created.   Founded in 1995 in the small community of Blue Goose, located in the hills of Western Tennessee, this business grew to include the crafts of spinning, weaving, felting and other fiber arts which have become such a part of our lives.
